Working at a hourly rate

Being a SEO copywriter, I work at a hourly rate. This isn’t because of the different services I offer. It’s because my job is more than just writing.

I do research, improve existing texts, create visuals and spend a lot of time on LinkedIn to gain interaction for clients. It’s not realistic for me to be paid per word.

How many hours I will work for you, depends on the type of job, your budget, but also the hours you want me to spend on it weekly. Together we can discuss what that will look like.

Work- life balance

Because I like to work long-term for my clients, it can get quite busy from time to time. My clients are my priority, so you can still reach me for a rush job or advice.

I think balance is essential for freelancers. That’s why I spend time off during the weekend to go out, away from my laptop. I love to see more from the world, so that’s what I’m doing in-between work.

During busy periods, or if you have a rush job, I will work during the weekends if you discuss this with me beforehand.

Clear communication

I love that! Who doesn’t? I do extremely well with a clear briefing, Tell me all you know, show me, send me sources I can use or let’s chat about it briefly on Whatsapp. Whatever your preference of communication is. I’m always available on Whatsapp, so you’ll get the fastest response through there.

Please be clear when giving feedback. I would like you to tell me exactly what you think. Did you like my copy? What did you like? Is there room for improvement? If you tell me, I can give you even better quality. By communicating in a clear way, we will know what to expect from each other.

Experience as a freelancer

Over the last few years I’ve worked with different companies. I’ve worked in niches like web3, marketing, e-commerce, healthcare, construction and software development. I have the most experience in marketing and software development. Luckily those are a few of my favorite niches to work in. This is because there’s a lot of new developments, which makes my work pretty interesting.

Still, no matter the niche you’re in. Any type of business is more than welcome. I like to learn more about different topics and I love to discover new things.
